2024 Davinci resolve grab still greyed out

Sep 4, 2023 · So it looks like it is NOT necessary to create a new timeline as concluded in my last response. I can export .wav files just fine. I still can’t explain why both on DaVinci 16 and 17b9, which are on separate computers, I was having the exact same issue. If I figured out what caused it, I will update again. nothing is wrong. you need to add an effect or a transition to the clip. the Inspector is where you change the settings for applied effects. Until you add an effect, there's nothing to display there. If you have launched Resolve after you have the iMac acting as a second screen, and the Dual Screen menus are grayed out, then apparently Resolve does not think that's an actual second screen. Resolve won't make the Dual Screen menus active unless it thinks there are really 2 screens, and it only does that check when the app is launched. If you have launched Resolve after you have the iMac acting as a second screen, and the Dual Screen menus are grayed out, then apparently Resolve does not think that's an actual second screen.. Until you add an effect, there's nothing to display there. Left top of the interface is where you'll find the Effects tab, from which you can browse effects and transitions. Sxokne • 3 yr. ago. its my first day with Davinci and i just cant figure out why its greyed out for me. i tried changing in the project settings to either sony, black magic etc. but they didnt change anything for this tab. clip im using is just a folder that i drag n dropped (exr - 16 bit images) If you’ve generated optimized media or proxies, it defaults to whatever you’d selected at the time of generating those. Since those aren’t RAW, there’s nothing that’s going to be changing. You can disable them in the Playback Menu and should be able to use the Camera RAW settings, and will see the changes you make. 4. There you can override the default behavior and set the output resolution to HD. This issue is that if the monitor is displaying HD, then when I grab a still it is saved as HD. Then the controls should be available. Be aware that only the studio version of Resolve includes access to all OFX plugins. If you have the free version, you might not be able to use that sharpen plugin. However you can use the built in sharpen/ blur options. The icon next to the tracker opens up the blur/mist/sharpen tool. Been looking at HDR10+ and it seems that the anchor points are always greyed out?
