An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. Gunlancer is a dps class just like the rest. Blade and shadow are both fun and enjoyable classes that are decent in their own right and very satisfying to use your combos. Sorceress is there to nuke things from afar. Gunlancer is very tanky and a great balance in consideration of the warrior class. Scrapper is a well balanced class.Each class in lost ark has two class engravings, or two different play styles/builds to chose from. Picking an assassin to play is essentially picking 1/6 not 1/3. While it is fine to play it without max gear, the absolut top tier damage comes with having everything maxed. Other classes often need some very important tripods and are kinda fine then. Like DB, needs like 5. For Gunslinger, every single one will push the dmg. in general, classes that are more mobile (with skills that increase mobility) will be able to clear the main story and level up the fastest. •. No argument that it's an easy class to play, because it's straightforward but that does't necessarily make it boring.Most fun: DI Shadowhunter - assassin class that doesn't get one shot, can zoom around, skills are cool with good sound fx. Good at kiting around bosses. Easy to play. Don't get why everyone says she's boring. Least fun: Igniter Sorc.I'm probably biased but shadow hunter is some of the most fun I've had in a long time. I went from Berserker to Soulfist. I may MVP way more on Berserker but Soulfist is so damn fun and satisfying, gives off such a strong Dragonball vibe. Spirit bomb, martial arts, kamehameha, power ups similar to Super Saiyan.Therefore in aspects alone, I would rather play the Deadeye, but I am not a fan of the shotgun, hug the boss playstyle. Please help, I want to choose a class that I will fall in love with and dump many hours into it. Thank you, Much love <3 PS. If DPS matters, I would like to be a class that does good DPS, a good reliable teammate.Most fun: gunslinger, igniter sorc is really fun on fights that aren't dogshit for it, RE deathblade is fun even if it isn't quite as strong as Surge, artist has been a lot of fun. Least fun: RS soulfist, paladin is kinda boring, Surge has fights that are insanely annoying even if the spec in general is pretty fun..
